Movie Reviews and Video Game Reviews and Other Stuff

Hi, Everyone! Sorry, I haven't been posting lately.

Happy New year!!! Wow, a whole new year... My new years resolution is to not eat so many jolly ranchers. What's yours?

-------Video Game Reviews

I just got Twilight Princess! It's awesome!!! The controls are really neat! I recommend it for ages 11 and up.

*SPOILERS*You play as Link, a boy around 17. He lives in the country of Hyrule in the province Ordonna in the village, Ordon. He has a horse named Epona. He's an orphan. His adoptive parents are Rusl and Uli (I think. There's nothing in the game to prove this, so it's just my opinion). Not long after you begin playing, you go to the ranch (where Link works), where you play a short mini game where you herd goats into a pen. After you're done, you head back into the village and meet your friend Ilia. She yells at you because Epona is hurt. Later on, Ilia and the children get captured and you have to free them. I'll stop there because I don't want to give too much away.*SPOILER END*

I also got Ocarina of Time (originally for N64. I got it on the Wii Shop Channel). I play it with a Game Cube controller. It's awesome. Pure, epic, awesome. The graphics are a bit... Well, only because it's a really old game. I recommend it for ages 9 and up.

*SPOILER* You play as Link, a young boy around 11 or 12-ish. He lives in Kokiri Village. Anyway, this game is cool, because you get to time travel and you play the Ocarina. Which is awesome. I don't want to give too much away, but this game is awesome.*END OF SPOILER*

--------Movie Reviews

I went to go see the movie the Kings Speech. It's a bit... not for kids, because they swear quite a bit. It's about the King (played by Colin Firth), father of queen Elizabeth the 2nd and Princess Margaret. Anyway, stutters when he talks, so he goes to see this speech doctor (played by Jeoffery Rush), and then stuff happens and they become friends. It's a really good movie! I recommend it for people 12 and up.

I went to go see Tron with my good friend Hawk. It's really cool! It's about this dude called Sam Flynn whose dad invents this... other dimension. It's awesome, because they play a bunch of awesome techno music but they also throw in a bit of orchestral music too. It's really cool, and I'd love to see it again. I recommend it for people 10 and up.

I also went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. If you've read the books, it makes a bit more sense when you see the movies. So, I recommend reading the book before you see the movie. It's a really good movie! It's a bit violent, though. If you're not one for blood, I think you might want to cover your eyes at the gory parts. All in all, it's a really good movie! It has its sad parts though. I recommend it for people 11 and up.

So, yeah! That's it! Oh, but, before I go, what did you get for Christmas? The major things I got were a Link stuffy (yup, that's right. A stuffy of everyone's (well, mine) favourite sword wielding hero.), an iPod Nano, a Hoodiebuddie (a hoody with earphones and a plug to connect your iPod into), Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Twilight Princess. I got some more stuff, though too. What did you get? I hope your Christmas was as cool as mine! Or cooler, even!

See you soon!
